He returned from NC State and went to work in the family printing business. He became the Vice President and Manager of Walker Printing Company, and successfully ran the business until its sale. Now he enjoys a successful career as a Realtor and broker fully licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina.
John is active in the community. He currently serves on a committee for his homeowners’ association and has previously represented his neighborhood on a small area planning committee that reported directly to the county planning commission. He lives with his wife Lisa, a professor at UNC Charlotte, and their son Tucker in Mint Hill. His hobbies include playing golf, exercising, fantasy football, and documentary television.
