The Mecklenburg Historical Association is offering a free series of regional history courses entitled, "From Wagon Roads to New South City." One of the classes will be in Pineville at the President James K. Polk State Historic Site on Saturday, January 26 between 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The class will be taught by Ann Evans and Elliot White. Advance registration is required.
